welcome back to the crafts corner
[Music]
welcome back you guys to craft corner
crafts I am so excited today to bring
you guys a new craft so I am actually
gonna be doing something for the first
time myself I have never actually like
done anything like this so I'm really
nervous to see how it's gonna turn out I
really don't think it's gonna look bad
I really don't especially for the cause
of what it's for that makes it even that
much more worth doing it so I'm going to
show you guys everything that I'm going
to be using today the craft that I'm
actually going to be making today is a
tablecloth free so let me show you what
all I have in store for you guys
everything that I purchased is from the
dollar store so literally it only costs
dollars to be able to make this
beautiful wreath so I bought three of
the rectangular plastic cover table
covers sorry of the white the dark pink
and a light pink I got two rounds of
different types of colored flowers and
the wreath very well sorry but is the
Breast Cancer Awareness wreath frame
that I'm actually going to be making
this time yes you heard right I'm
actually making a breast awareness
breast cancer awareness wreath for
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
so I'm going to be making one of those
today I hope that you guys enjoy
watching everything that I am doing and
I will check in with you guys little by
little to let you know what my steps I'm
doing okay you guys all that you're
gonna need is a very good pair of
scissors for this part and the first
thing that you're going to do is you're
gonna take all three of your tablecloths
but I'm going to set my two other ones
aside because you're just gonna do one
at a time you don't want all of your
tablecloths to be open because then it
becomes a big old mess and you know how
that can work when you're working with
light plastic it can
a complete doozy of a wreck so excuse
the kids in the background they're
playing ID rather than be playing than
crying so we're doing good somewhere
today okay so when you open up the
tablecloth there's gonna be a little
flab right here that's folded over okay
I have this laying on my bed doing this
because this is probably the easiest
area for me to be able to cut so I'm
just gonna simply cut straight down
and that would be your first strip and
that's about the width that you're going
to want to make them and then you're
going to cut them in half you will cut
them in half and that way then you have
to actually you'll have four and you're
gonna do that so now you're gonna fold
your tablecloth back over and you're
going to cut all the way down the folded
seam of both sides so that's your first
thing you have to do hold on Princess

you
[Music]
okay you guys now I just finished
I just finished cutting the pink up so
now I'm going to repeat the entire same
steps with the white okay so you're
gonna have your frame you're gonna have
your colors I opted to have the the
light pink the white sorry if this is
drowning out and then the dark pink and
what you're gonna do is you're going to
separate a little bit a little bit
you've got to be very gentle because
these are very delicate and you just
don't want to accidentally rip them that
would be that would be sad so I am just
separating them one by one and I'm just
making a pile down here you guys can't
see it but it's just a pile of them as I
separate them so that it's easier to
grab them and go with them so anyways
that's what I'm doing right now
okay so I've had a change of plans I
think what I'm gonna do is how I did the
tool reef I'm gonna tie those the same
way I think I'm gonna get a better set
because these ones spread out and that's
just not it it just doesn't look good so
I'm gonna snip this one especially cuz
this one it I don't know what it did but
um go ahead and just snip these ones off
and see if maybe it will turn out better
to do it the other way so let's start
this process a little bit over so we're
just gonna do the same thing like we did
with the tool you're gonna make a you
take the two ends tuck it through pull
it boom you're done yeah that's gonna be
your better bet I was I think I was
tying those wrong the other way but this
I think this is gonna look much better
okay so I'm just gonna just to kind of
show you what so far I have done so
you flip it over you can see on the
bottom where all the bottoms are tied
and then you come this way as long as
you fluff them it's gonna be full so
anyways I just wanted to kind of show
you guys that part I'll show you where
I'm at so far okay you guys so so far
this is what I've gotten and I am so
sight honestly I am so in love with this
thing and this is a you know all new to
me I've never done this kind of material
which is the tablecloths so I will
definitely trim this stuff down to kind
of separate these to keep the the ribbon
separate but isn't that a doll I'm just
I am loving I'm loving the how I mixed
in the colors and it's all tablecloths
material so for this whole thing that's
gonna have cost me two three four five
dollars no six dollars for this whole
wreath how can you beat that for a
dollar tree wreath fun times
hey guys welcome back so day two of
making my breast cancer awareness wreath
so excuse me today as I woke up really
sick not feeling good running a 102
temperature yeah I'm not feeling very
hot but I really want to get this wreath
done it means a lot to me and so I
definitely want to work on it something
therapeutic I love doing stuff like this
so it's not like it's something that I'm
fulfilling like I forced myself to do so
anyways but I just wanted to double
check in with you guys to let you know
I'm on day 2 and as soon as I get the
colors all situated I will show you a
couple more steps so that you guys are
refreshed on what we're doing okay you
guys so I just want to kind of check in
with you guys and show you I am oh so I
just have a little more to go and then
we'll move into the decorating part but
I just want to check in with you guys
and show
how far I've gotten it's coming along
okay you guys so now what I'm doing is I
am just pushing all of my the
tablecloths fabric I guess you'd call it
I'm really not sure what you would say
tablecloths plastic you're just gonna
push it through and stand it all up
before you can start the decorating so
you kind of know where everything is
laying because of course when you're
doing it it just kind of gets smooshed
down and stuff so I am just working on
pushing all of the tablecloth up so we
can see where everything's at but you
can get confusing and stay out of my bag
please go find a wipey okay so once it's
completely filled out okay you can hold
it up and kind of take a look at it and
be like okay so I see where I left a
hanging and I'm gonna probably try trim
some of this down here and then that
will kind of give me a more of a motion
of where I want to do my decorating but
I'm going to take my smaller scissors so
I'm not just like Edward Scissorhands
and just like going at it
and not paying attention cuz you know of
course you can really mess something up
that you just spent so much cutting in
too much so you know just you kind of
use your your imagination as to where it
kinda needs to be a little bit and the
only reason like I said the only reason
I'm trimming is just because as it's
laying you you really want you know it
to be perfect with what it is you know
so it's kind of why I am
doing this and then you kind of just
reach up inside make sure that you get
all the little extras off you don't want
to take the color off of course that's
kind of what you're gonna do is you just
cut it at an angle so that it keeps its
it keeps its look of the sharp look so
it's not flat because that's I think
that's probably the most important part
because you want it to still look very
clean you don't want it to take away
from the effect so this is what I'm
doing right now is just kind of going
through trimming some of these that came
up a little bit longer than other ones I
mean it doesn't it can be a little bit
uneven like I mean totally it can be
uneven that's totally the look you know
he wanted to be kind of full and stuff
but some that kind of stand out a little
bit too much you just want to go through
and just kind of trim them up okay so
for decorations for myself what I chose
to use is and it doesn't mean that like
because I'll pull stuff up and look and
kind of see what's out there and if I
like something then I'll work with it if
I'm not too about it then I you know I
just set it aside because I always have
stuff around because of just loving to
do crafts as you like you know and you
don't have to do this this the trimming
right now but you're gonna definitely
want to trim around the flowers all of
us you kind of you know see them but
what I'm thinking I'm gonna do is I will
do like a pink one or a white one and
then up a little bit I think I'm gonna
do a pink one but I do have my glue gun
all heated up and ready to go and I
would suggest you putting a little bit
on the
I was gonna need another blue stick but
a little bit now don't be alarmed that
this might melt the plastic a little bit
it that is okay
it's kind of wood you know it's plastic
so sure we're kind of okay I'm hoping
that that light is a little bit better
because it up a little better for me
okay so once that's dry then I mean it
doesn't have to be dry but now I'm gonna
take a pink one because I'm gonna go
every other one fine this Center if I go
there or if I'm gonna go up a little bit
No
okay I'm gonna trim this one down a
little bit just because that one's like
sticking the way out so I'm not
measuring myself correctly I like it
right there so I'm just gonna put the
glue around again
don't be learned if it melts the plastic
a little bit promise that won't be the
first time or the last when you're
making one of these but this one was so
easy like seriously I am going to say
this that I did not expect this to go as
easily as it has gone oh stop
now let's go through there so you just
find okay so I'm gonna turn this around
so I can kind of find my bearing here
I'm gonna put it in and then you just
kind of measure it just so you kind of
in the even you know so it's not like
just randomly stuck everywhere
but the time that this one took was so
much so much quicker that a lot of my
other frames and my other wreaths so
honestly I was oops
I was very very shocked that this did
not take as long as I was and I thought
it was gonna take so that was nice
and then once we're done like I said
we'll go around and kind of trim some of
these so that these are a little bit
more prominent along with the rest of
the flowers now you know do a different
color to start here so since we did a a
white dump there we will do a pink so
we're just gonna look for the bottom
where's my middle here size you up make
sure you're gonna you probably don't
actually even have to stick it on the
frame itself I just do because I like
that extra the extra hold that it's not
gonna go anywhere because surely that
would not be the best thing and the nice
thing about this one too is it's plastic
so technically if it was to get wet
there's nothing that's gonna happen to
it it's not fabric it's not it will be
easy to dust and things like that so
that makes it even that much nicer I
like the the way that you can put these
outside I have so many ideas you guys
have things that I've got coming up for
DIYs I am so excited to show you them it
just overloading of excitement for
things that I've got coming
so you guys are definitely gonna help to
stick around see all the fun things I've
got coming up another glue stick I'm
definitely gonna have to get some more
clothes tits because I'm getting low
that's okay
okay so
[Music]
push it down
and you can clean up the hot glue like
the hairs whatever you want to call me
not really sure what it was I was always
calm hawk here huh clock here hot glue
hair you can clean that up afterwards
hmm then let's do one more okay so
pretty much how I was able to measure
these was at the end of each bar which I
will flip this around in a minute and
show you guys kind of how I was able to
measure it and that way I kind of know
where I am putting these so that it's
not just like you can randomly stick
them and it would totally be okay but if
you're more precise then it would be
best if you do it this way that way then
there's no like major confusion on how
or where you want to stick these okay so
there's two V's here there's the V that
goes crossing and then there's a V that
up here that's gonna go up you have to
decide where let me see if I can show
you guys there's the V there here's a V
right here okay you have to decide where
do you want your bow do you want your
bow here or do you want your bow down
here so I'm gonna do it the top one so
what I'm gonna do is I have to go in
pull all of my fabrics aside because I
have to obviously be able to go in and
see clearly what I'm doing so you just
lay all your fabrics down so that you
can see everything and all the
dimensions of where everything's gonna
lay then this is the part that's gonna
take the most glue I would put the glue
all over your bow I wouldn't even worry
putting it on the frame because it's
really not the frame part that's gonna
be sticking so I would stick it clearly
on the bow itself and then you're gonna
want to also put glue down on your the
bow part because the loops because
you're gonna want to hold that down a
little bit and that's what's gonna kind
of push the fabric to lay down low but
you don't want it like so out that you
can't see what is actually going on so I
hold this one down for just a little bit
longer just to make sure that the bow
really has set itself okay still leaking
a little bit but that's okay okay so
what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna find
where this is gonna lay and then I'm
gonna put just a little dot doesn't have
to be a bunch just oh shoot sorry guys
so I'm burning myself just a little bit
right there a little bit right there
fingers what you don't want a major
that's the same side and I'll be right
back
okay excuse the fact that I'm using my
craft bag for a table for just a moment
but I just wanted to show the ending
part of how I sill this so I just used a
little bit of tool for my hanging part
that will be hung and then I also put
flowers over the the part that is tied
so that it just kind of all blends in
but you can't see it from the front but
isn't that absolutely beautiful and I
will definitely post the finalized
pictures as soon as I get it hung up I
am so excited you guys I got it done for
what this stands for is amazing I
personal feelings into this I have
personal family that have suffered
breast cancer and has beat the odds and
so this definitely goes to heart for me
and I can't wait to share with you the
final results okay you guys here's my
final product for the first time I am
introducing a table cloth breast cancer
awareness race I think it turned out
beautiful
I could not be more happier okay and
then I just wanted to show you guys on
the back this is how I did the tight so
that you can't see like the taking all
the type art so and then just the
regular part the the ugly part but yes
hope you guys enjoyed watching this
